Firstly, we hope everyone stays safe over the next few days and come out the other side all intact.

All results for last night have now been loaded to your swimmers SwimTopia profile. I honestly can't believe how far our swimmers have come, we are seeing more and more swimmers strive to do better and participate in longer distances and try their hand at a different stroke. Well done to all of our swimmers.

A reminder if you wish to re-sign for next season at the Early Bird rate you must do this prior to our last session on the 1st April 2025.

Season 2025/2026 Fee Structure

• Early Bird (resign and pay prior to the end of the current season) $100 for the first child and subsequent child/ren $90

• Resign (following end of current season) $120 for the first child and subsequent child/ren $110

• New Participants $150 first child and subsequent child/ren $130

• Yes we accept FairPlay Vouchers

During the last night of the season we will hold some relays to get the parents involved, stay tuned as we get closer. We will also be running 1x Raffle to raise money for the club. The committee will not be hosting anymore fundraising BBQ's at Bunnings or the School to raise money due to limited volunteers therefore our raffles are our only option for raising extra money so appreciate your support when we do run these.

A reminder we have our Club Meet on Saturday 15th March at Thornlands, I have attached the flyer to help with timings so you can plan your day. The Meet will be run on the Swim Club App, if you are planning on attending, please download this app, find our club under Capalaba. You can register your swimmer now and then once the meet is created by Thornlands you will be able to go in and nominate for races. I believe the meet will be set up by the end of this week, I'll shoot a note out as soon as I hear. (I've attached a screenshot of the app and what you are looking for). If you attended Birkdale Breakers meet your swimmer will already be in the app and you will just need to nominate for the races.

Last night's swimmer of the week was nominated by our Swim Coach Hailey, this swimmer had her listening ears on during Stroke Correction and is improving her form week on week. Its good to see she is finally willing to swim each week and I even hear her saying she loves it. Congratulations to Poppii Baldwin, I know your mum will be super proud ;)

We have 4 weeks left for this season, with our last night being the 1st April. Our Trophy Afternoon is booked for the 12th April at Alex Hills Hotel in the Outdoor Beer Garden. The following presentations our swimmers can enjoy a round of Putt Putt and some delicious food. Parents, we haven't forgotten about you and have some sharing platters to go around.
